In newly released statistics from U.S. News & World Report, a number of University of Pittsburgh schools and programs have excelled in the Best Graduate Schools 2015 guidebook rankings. In Medical Specialties, Pitt's School of Medicine is ranked No. 4 in women's health, No. 7 in pediatrics, and No. 9 in geriatrics. In the research category of The Top Schools of Medicine, Pitt's medical school ranks No. 17. In the primary care category of The Top Schools of Medicine, it has advanced from No. 24 to No. 18 this year, where it is tied with Dartmouth College and Indiana University-Indianapolis.
