Pittsburgh Strives to Become a Self-Driving Tech HubOct 03, 2016
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is staking a claim as a center of self-driving car tech. Despite some pushback from residents, the city's mayor, the police chief, and the Pennsylvania state government are all in favor of the city's bid to become a center of autonomous vehicle development, according to The New York Times. "You can either put up red tape or roll out the red carpet. If you want to be a 21st-century laboratory for technology, you put out the carpet," said Pittsburgh's mayor Bill Peduto.
